I Love You To God and Back: A Mother and Child Can Find Faith and Love Through Bedtime Prayers is written by Amanda Lamb. I thought this would be a book of prayers for children to learn but it is actually more of a journal. A mother (the author) is so touched by hearing her daughter Chloe's bedtime prayers that she starts recording the prayers. She then adds her thoughts and reflections on the lesson she has learned from the daughter's prayer. Chloe is only 6 but inspired me with her prayers and thoughts about various topics. This was an enjoyable read and there is a bonus at the back of the book - tips to help you begin bedtime prayers with your own children.
