Tonight we're taking a short 10 minute drive from our house to go look at Christmas lights in a neighborhood that transforms itself into "Candy Cane Lane" during the holidays. Every house for in this particular neighborhood not only has lights, but a certain theme in their front yard - Disney characters, bears, etc. I've been going for years even before I had kids and now it's so much fun to see it through their eyes. It's a great holiday tradition and even though it doesn't snow here, it's cold enough at night to make it feel like it's really wintertime.
